• Pep Rally - wear Blanco colors or last year's band shirt
• For 7th-8th Grade Band

• Thursday, October 31, 2019
• Halloween Pep Rally - 3:00pm - wear costumes or Blanco shirt
• For 7th-8th Grade Band 

• Friday, November 1, 2019
• 8th Grade performance with HS Band at Varsity FB game
• 7pm report to Stadium / Perform at halftime
• Wear '19-'20 band shirt and blue jeans
• Bring money for concessions
• A parent may sign you out after halftime, or you must stay with the HS band until the band plays the school song at the end of the game.

• Tuesday, November 5, 2019
• Fall Concert at 6:30pm for 6th-8th Grade Bands at BMS Gym
• Required Performance
• Wear '19-'20 band shirt and blue jeans

• Thursday, November 7, 2019

• Christmas Concert at 6:30pm at BHS Cafeteria
• 6th-8th Grade Bands (NOT 5th grade and HS)
• Required Performance
• Boys wear button up shirts or polo shirts with slacks/khakis. No shorts or t-shirts. 
• Girls wear dresses or skirts, or dress shirt/pants. No high heels, and pay attention to skirt lengths when sitting.

• Christmas Concert at 6:30pm at BHS Cafeteria
• 5th Grade Band and HS Band (NOT 6th-8th Grade)
• Required Performance

• ATSSB Region Band Auditions for select 6th-8th grade band students
• LaVernia JH
• Report to BMS Band Hall at 7:30am. Auditions start at 10am and go until finished.

• Tuesday, February 4, 2020
• ATSSB Region Band Clinic/Concert for select 6th-8th grade band students that made the bands
• LaVernia HS
• All Day. Concert begins at 7:00pm.

• February 20, 2020
• Pre-UIL Contest for 7th/8th grade Varsity band
• Lytle HS
• All day. Band performs at 12:00pm. 
• Dress is current Band T-shirt and blue jeans.
• Bring $10 for lunch.

• February 26, 2020
• Pre-UIL required practice and concert for 7th/8th grade Varsity band
• 3:45pm-6pm (concert at 5:45pm)
• BMS Cafeteria.

• March 5, 2020
• UIL Concert and Sight-reading contest for 7th/8th grade Varsity band
• Canyon Lake HS
• Warm-up at 3:50pm
• Perform at 4:20pm
• Dress is nice, professional clothes. Boys, at minimum must wear a collared shirt or button-up with nice slacks and dress shoes. Suit/tie optional. Girls may choose to wear a dress, skirt, or nice blouse with dress pants. Absolutely NO jeans, shorts, t-shirts allowed for UIL performance. All other bands will be wearing uniforms. 
• Parents welcome to attend the concert performance. No video or photography.

• Select 6th-8th grade clarinetists
• Sign up with Mrs. Conard by Feb. 28. Cost is $10.

• April 30, 2020 - CANCELLED 
• Pirateland Band Contest for 6th Grade Band
• Lytle, TX
• Depart Blanco at 8:15am.
• Warm-up at 10:00am, Perform at 10:30am.
• After performance, celebrate at Main Event - Stone Oak - 12:15pm-2:15pm.
• We will return to BMS around 3:15pm

• May 1, 2020 - CANCELLED 
• 7th & 8th Grade band trip to Sea World
• Wear current band t-shirt and shorts or jeans.
• Report to BMS band hall at 9:00am. 
• Return around 6:30pm.

• 7:00pm start time (kids will need to report earlier)
• Required Performance.

• BMS Fine Arts Night at BMS Cafeteria for select 6th-8th Grade Band Students
• This is like a Fine Arts Open House
• All are invited to admire the artwork, listen to the band students in recital, and be entertained by the theater skits
• Attire for band student performers is current band t-shirt and jeans
